For all the Adventure Dads out there who are looking for a meaningful adventure with their family rather than burned pancakes in bed; for all the kids and mothers who know their Dad would rather be outside than stuck at a brunch; the staff at Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park would like to invite you to come out and spend your Fathers’ Day exploring Mother Nature with us.
Sunday, June 17th is Fathers’ Adventure Day at Horne Lake. Bring your family out for a cave tour and Dads can go for free. Tours will be guided and options include our 1.5hr Family Cavern Tour or our 3hr Ice Age Adventure. Details and reservations for both tours are available on our website (www.hornelake.com), by phone (250 248 7829) or through Facebook- “Like” us at Horne Lake Caves, Campground and Outdoor Centre.
After the tours wrap up, we will also be hosting an evening camp fire from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in Horne Lake Regional Park (free of charge.) Check out our teepees, chat around the campfire and watch the sun go down. We will supply the fire and a great outdoor meet-up space for kids to play and parents to socialize. Bring your own goodies to roast, your instruments and voices, your fireside stories to share, your family and your sense of fun.
All the Dads on our staff are excited to share their love of caves. We are looking forward to meeting all the other Adventure Dads out there and providing a space for like-minded families to meet.
