Best thing to do during the winter in the Valley?
I think it's pretty easy to figure that one out. Being within a stone's throw (well, not really, but pretty close) of a mountain resort, most of my free time is spent up at Mount Washington.
My favourite time of the year is when the Outback, the backside of the mountain, get's enough snow to merit it's grand opening. Not only is it easily on the most fun places to be when there is fresh snow, but there's constantly someone else who is as excited as you are to be there to share the moment with.
